I just wanted to share with you what I feel God has brought to me this morning.
2 Corinthians 4:17
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an EXTERNAL glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes NOT on what is SEEN, but on what is UNSEEN. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Our troubles should not diminish our faith or disillusion us.We should realize that there is a purpose in our day to day problems and suffering!

Problems and human limitations have several key benefits that have been designed by God to help us rely on him and not trust in our own strength. These benefits are:
- They remind us that Christ suffered for us and therefore he can sympathize with our struggles!
- They keep us from getting prideful!
- They cause us to look beyond this brief life!
- THEY PROVE OUR FAITH TO OTHERS AND THAT IS WHAT BRINGS OTHERS TO CHRIST.
- THEY GIVE GOD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEMONSTRATE HIS POWER!
I'm very encouraged to hear and see your faith and strength growing and inspiring many especially me.
ReplyDeletePsalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
You mean the guy on TV Sunday morning is wrong? We are not supposed to have trouble free life once we excepted Christ, and blue birds and butterflies aren’t going to garnish my window sill every morning!

Man I was just struggling with some disappointment this morning and this comes at a perfect time for me...thanks
